1. Overview & Data Ownership

Kheror Khata ("the Application") is an offline bookkeeping and calculation utility developed and maintained by TXTool ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use the Application downloaded from the Google Play Store.

You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all khatas, transaction descriptions, monetary values, and calculation histories created within the Application.

2. Data Collection & Processing

Because Kheror Khata is engineered as an offline-first mobile app:

• No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, government IDs, or physical addresses.
• No Financial Credentials: We never ask for or access bank account numbers, debit/credit cards, UPI pins, or online banking passwords.
• No Tracking Identifiers: We do not capture your IP address, Android Advertising ID (AAID), MAC address, or hardware IMEI.
• No Cloud Sync: All records are written exclusively to a local SQLite database on your device's internal storage.

3. Device Permissions Used

The Application requests the absolute minimum device permissions needed to function:

• Internet Permission (Network State): Used exclusively when the user explicitly taps an external link (such as visiting txtool.in or sending a support email to support@txtool.in via their system browser/mail client). The app performs no background telemetry or unauthorized internet requests.

4. Third-Party Analytics, Advertising & SDKs

• Zero Third-Party Advertising: Kheror Khata contains no advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob, Unity, Facebook Audience Network, or AppLovin).
• Zero Analytics SDKs: We do not embed Firebase Analytics, Flurry, Mixpanel, or any behavioral telemetry frameworks.
• No Data Sharing / Selling: We do not sell, rent, license, or disclose user data to third parties, data brokers, or marketing partners.

5. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)

The Application is designed as a general utility and does not target or solicit information from children under 13 years of age. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, the Application complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable global child data protection regulations.

6. Data Retention, Backup & User Deletion Rights

• Instant Deletion: You can delete any individual transaction or entire ledger notebook immediately within the Application interface.
• Complete Data Erasure: Clearing the Application cache/data via Android Settings, or uninstalling the Application, results in immediate, irreversible erasure of all local data from your device.

7. Policy Changes & Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory compliance. Any revisions will be published at this public URL with an updated "Effective Date".
